Conventional treatments for Whiplash include:
In rare cases neck pain may persist for a year or longer and conventional medicine offers no form of treatment that is of value. Analgesics may be given to reduce pain and physiotherapy can offer some relief but in the words of a textbook. “Patients need to be encouraged to bear the discomfort until the symptoms subside. However, be warned: over 10 per cent of patients have some residual discomfort lasting indefinitely.” |
